EAST BAY HURRICANES

About Us

HURRICANES

East Bay's Competitive Girls Travel Baseball Program

The East Bay Hurricanes are providing competitive travel baseball opportunities in the East Bay area of Northern California. We serve young girls from Sacramento, Vacaville, Fairfield, Richmond, El Cerrito, Albany, Berkeley, Oakland, Alameda, San Leandro and Hayward. We currently run teams at the following age groups: 11U and 9U.

The East Bay Hurricanes is an organization devoted to player development; to build the skills, experience, and character needed to play at high school level and beyond. We are focused on the fundamentals of the game and teach the work ethic required to succeed not just in baseball but in life. The Hurricanes provide girls with an opportunity to develop baseball skills through competition in local, regional and national tournaments.

We are also proud to call the East Bay Cyclones our home. Our team would not have been able to thrive without their support as our parent organization.

Team Formation

TEAM FORMATION

The Hurricanes are a no tryout program, no cut program. We welcome players committed to improving their baseball skills. The only requirement to join the Hurricanes program are a love of the game and a commitment to work hard. We evaluate our players on a regular basis. Travel tournament teams are formed based on skill level and work ethic.

Coaching

COACHING & DEVELOPMENT

The players are led by various dedicated parents passionate about empowering young girls in baseball. In addition to team coaches, we have seasonal support from former college baseball players, former major league baseball players & former USA women's baseball players .

In addition to the team coaches and seasonal support, the Hurricanes have dedicated pitching, catching and hitting clinics.

Hurricanes team members also have access to individualized, 1:1 coaching sessions to fine tune specific skill sets and dramatically improve their game.
